Skill Acquisition
During a simulated conversation, users select from a variety of topics allowing them to discuss what thay want, when they want.

The SIMmersion Difference is rooted in interactive conversation simulations. Users acquire skill by talking to a character who portrays personalities and motivations the user will see on the job and in their everyday lives.

The characters are played by actors, giving the users an engaging setting to put their knowledge to use. Conversations are challenging, game-like, and never the same twice, motivating users to practice for hours.

Real Conversations

Users can choose from hundreds of things to say at nearly any time. Characters respond based on their own emotional state, the rapport the user builds, the history of the conversation, and their own random impulses. Speech recognition allows users to literally talk to the character using a microphone, allowing them to rehearse difficult statements, improve their comfort level, and build confidence. They can also click on their choices and hear them read with proper tone of voice. Learn more about how real our characters are.

Higher Cognitive Skill

Other training products train judgment in limited scenarios, presenting users with a few options and allowing them to pick the best possible one. SIMmersion simulations challenge users to attain higher cognitive skills. Mastering complex social interaction requires assessment of factors that constantly change: the ability to look back, predict what might happen next, look for clues in verbal and nonverbal behavior, act, react, and recover are among many of the skills that users must apply.

Unique Training

SIMmersion's patented PeopleSim technology is unmatched for creating a free-form conversation for repeated and unique application of skills with each simulation play. Conversations may last a few minutes or over an hour, based upon how long the conversation should appropriately take.

Make Mistakes Without the Risk

Users can make mistakes without being unfairly judged or embarrassed and learn from the characters' reactions. They can replay a few exchanges or entire conversations, or rewind during a conversation, giving themselves a "do over." When users replay the conversation, they can hear their own voice talking to the character. Learning from mistakes in the simulated conversations reduces anxiety and helps users avoid the same pitfalls with real people.
