Investigative Interview Techniques lines

For law enforcement and security organizations only.

Summary

  • Users practice investigative interview skills on a simulated suspect named Jennifer Lerner.
  • The training system is intended to help law enforcement, security, and intelligence community professionals to review, develop, and refine their interview and confession-solicitation skills.
  • Jennifer’s variable veracity, personalities, and motivations make the system highly engaging, leading to repeated practice.
  • Users receive ongoing feedback on their progress and also receive a post-interview score on their mastery of the learning objectives.

Jennifer Lerner Selected Scenes

Selected scenes of a user successfully interviewing a guilty version of Jennifer Lerner.
"In my years of service to the Sheriff's Office I have been to other Interview and Interrogation classes. You are told the time to practice is not when you are conducting an interrogation. You need to practice and get it right before then. The biggest problem with that statement is, who corrects you if you have said or done something wrong? With this program you get that feedback when it happens. You know instantly if you have made the wrong move. Sometimes if you are not careful you forget that this is a computer program since it is so realistic. I can honestly say that this is one of the best trainings I have gone to in my 30 years of service." - Karen Kilpatrick,
Lt. Major Crimes/Internal Affairs; Pitt County Sheriff's Office
