Introductory materials outline teaching objectives, provide interactive training content, describe the scenario, and inclide a software user's guide.

SIMmersion training systems contain e-learning material which can be adapted from existing course content or original material created by our instructional design team. We take classic classroom and textbook learning and present it in an engaging and memorable way. The multimedia, interactive, user-driven information is geared towards all methods of learning.

An Interactive Classroom for One

SIMmersion training systems may be used as a complement to or in place of traditional classroom learning. Users can access this information in a variety of ways. They can read through the material linearly from "front to back," or they can easily navigate through hyperlinks and pop-ups to access more detail on specific areas, view videos and visual aids for detailed examples, and complete comprehension checks to demonstrate initial understanding of the information.

The Whole Course On Your Screen

SIMmersion can create or adapt entire curricula or textbooks into our software. For the Alcohol Screening and Brief Intervention training system, SIMmersion developed an interactive version of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services publication "Helping Patients Who Drink Too Much: A Clinician's Guide."
For the Hands-on Investigative Interview Training System, SIMmersion developed a new e-learning curriculum called HIITS™ that uses audio, video, and interactive text to teach essential skills.

More Engaging

Comprehension checks, activities, and exercises reinforce the content and maintain user interest. They also help ensure users read required coursework.

User-Driven

Users of SIMmersion's e-learning content can access the material "in order," or they can skip around to only the content they feel they need. Each learning module is self-contained, allowing users to learn concepts completely and without an instructor.
